Polysomnography (Sleep) Technician
Certificate Program
Sleep technologists play a vital role in the clinical assessment, testing, diagnosis, management, and prevention of sleep-related disorders. As allied health professionals, they work in sleep disorder centers, specialty clinics, Durable Medical Equipment (DME) providers, as well as corporate, academic, and research settings.
Delaware Tech’s Sleep Technician program is accredited by The American Academy of Sleep Medicine’s (AASM) Accredited Sleep Technologist Education Program (A-STEP). This course, combined with the included exam and online self-study modules, fulfills the “Pathway 3” eligibility requirements to sit for the Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) exam, administered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT). Obtaining the CPSGT credential enables graduates to apply for the Delaware Polysomnography License (requirements may vary by state).
