Associate Degree Program
The Chemistry program equips students with the scientific knowledge, laboratory skills, and critical thinking abilities necessary to solve chemical problems. Graduates are prepared for diverse careers in chemical and related industries, including research, production, and quality control. Additionally, this curriculum, designed to match the first two years of a baccalaureate program, provides a strong foundation for students aiming to transfer to four-year institutions for further study in science or professional fields.

To complete program requirements, you must pass the above courses and earn at least 60 credits. The number of courses and credits required for graduation may be more depending on college readiness and the elective courses offered in your program major (if electives are a part of the program). If there is an “or” statement or program elective choice, please consult your program advisor. All students pursuing articulations should also see a program advisor. DTCC students intending to transfer to University of Delaware (UD) through a connected degree are advised to confirm their admission eligibility directly with UD as some grade and GPA restrictions apply.
