Certificate Program
Join the growing community of Certified Public Bookkeepers (CPB) and build a strong foundation for a successful career in bookkeeping and accounting.
The CPB designation confirms that you have the knowledge and skills to perform all essential account tasks through the adjusted trial balance, including payroll processing.
To become a CPB, one must meet three requirements: Pass the Certified Public Bookkeeper 3-part license exam, complete NACPB's training, sign a code of ethics, and verify one year (2,000 hours) of bookkeeping experience under the supervision of a CPA, or 6 months of bookkeeping experience provided through NACPB's experience program.
This program offered in partnership with the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers includes four comprehensive courses and their corresponding certification exams to fully prepare you for the CPB licensure.

Upon completion of this course, the student will:
- Be aware and understand the basics of accounting: The Language of Business
- Analyze business transactions
- Process transactions to general journal and general ledger
- Complete period-end adjustments and worksheets
- Complete closing entries and post-losing trail balance
- Account for sales and accounts receivable, and cash receipts
- Complete payroll computations, records, and payment
- Process payroll taxes, deposits and reports
- Prepare financial statements and closing procedures
