The Connected Degree Curriculum
Delaware Tech's associate degree program in Human Services provides career education for those interested in working with community service programs, providing individual and group counseling services, and developing human relations skills for working with individuals with diverse backgrounds. Graduates may be employed with governmental agencies or private firms or may continue their education at the bachelor's degree level. Purdue University Global's Bachelor of Science degree program in Human Services Youth/Family Services and Administration program teaches you how to assess client needs, identify community resources, problem solve, and advocate for your clients. In addition, you will also learn how to plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of social service programs or a community outreach organization, oversee the programs or organization's budget and policies regarding participant involvement, including program requirements and benefits, collaborate with or direct the work of case workers, social service workers, or probation officers and provide interventions and develop intervention strategies.
