Hometown Heroes 5k Run/1 Mile Walk

Delaware Tech’s Stanton and Wilmington campuses will host the annual Hometown Heroes 5k Run/1 Mile Walk on Thursday, September 18 at 6 p.m. at the clock tower in Rockford Park, Lookout Dr., Wilmington, DE. Registration will open at 5 p.m.
This year’s event is free, and you can purchase a race t-shirt for $15. T-shirts will be handed out at Rockford Park on race day. Other race amenities include food, music, and games – fun for the whole family!

Delaware Tech trains many essential workers such as paramedics, nurses, small business owners, IT professionals, and more who become our Hometown Heroes.
Pre-orders for t-shirts have ended. A limited number will be available for purchase on race day.
Age Groups and Awards
- Overall 1st place Male/Female
- Top 3 in each age group
- 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
The awards will be announced post-race at 6:45 p.m. at Rockford Park.
*Dogs and strollers are not permitted on the race course.
