Delaware Tech Men's Lacrosse Celebrates Sophomore Night with 19-1 Win

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's Men's Lacrosse team honored its eight sophomores with a pre-game ceremony on Wednesday, April 8, before securing a 19-1 victory over Sussex County Community College at the DE Turf Sports Complex. Sophomore midfielder Landon Hudson led the team with nine goals.
During a ceremony prior to the game, each sophomore player was escorted onto the field by family and friends. The athletes were then presented with personalized posters in recognition of their contributions to the team.
The College's Student Government Association (SGA) organized a pre-game tailgate, complete with music, games, and food to energize the crowd. Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) provided materials for attendees to create signs and cheer on the team.
Several student organizations, including Alpha Beta Gamma (ABG), the Black Student Alliance (BSA), and Sigma Theta Tau, also showed their support. To further energize the home team crowd, the Delaware Tech Drumline delivered a lively performance during halftime.
The sophomores honored were Daniel Bajwa, Jude Cline, Dominick Eacho, Logan Heffington, Landon Hudson, Dylan Phillips-Calloway, Caden Popelas, and Patrick Young.
