Hill Named Softball Pitcher of the Year, Eight Players Earn Postseason Honors

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ softball player Kylee Hill was named the 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 19 Division II Pitcher of the Year, headlining a group of eight players from the College who earned postseason honors.
Hill was also named to the NJCAA Region 19 Division II All-Region First Team where she was joined by teammate Zoey Coco. Six additional players were selected for the NJCAA Region 19 Division II All-Region Second Team. Those players were Natalie Berry, Amara Cropper, Mara Everton, Madison Fox, Maggie Hubbard, and Brooklyn Richardson.
A freshman, Hill finished the year with a 17-2 record and 1.85 ERA. She threw three no-hitters on the season and recorded 174 strikeouts in 113.2 innings. Dominant inside the circle, Hill also was highly productive at the plate, hitting .435 and leading the team with 17 doubles, seven home runs, and 57 RBI. She also scored 31 runs.
Coco, a sophomore infielder, posted a .451 batting average. She had a team-high 64 hits, led the team in stolen bases with 22, and was tied for the team lead with 53 runs scored. Her eight doubles and 39 RBI were both second best on the squad.
A sophomore infielder, Richardson hit .381, led the team with eight triples, and tied for the team high with 53 runs scored. She was second on the team with 50 RBI, nine doubles, and six home runs.
Berry, a sophomore infielder, hit .380 with five doubles and four home runs, scored 26 runs, and drove in 19 runs.
Cropper, a sophomore infielder, recorded a .438 batting average. She hit six doubles and three home runs, scored 19 runs, and had 20 RBI.
A freshman pitcher, Everton went 15-4 on the season and posted a 2.98 ERA. In 110.1 innings pitched she struck out 126 batters.
Fox, a freshman catcher, led the team in batting average, hitting .453 at the plate. She had seven doubles and one home run, scored 21 runs, and drove in 18 runs.
Hubbard, a freshman outfielder, had a .337 batting average and scored 40 runs. She also had five doubles, five home runs, two triples, and 26 RBI.
Delaware Tech posted a 33-8 record on the season and advanced to the NJCAA Division II World Series after winning the Atlantic B District Tournament. It was the fourth time in the past five seasons the team qualified for the World Series.
