Delaware Tech Athletics Awards Night Events Celebrate Outstanding Accomplishments

An athletics year that saw multiple championships and even more academic success culminated with three Athletics Awards Night events in each county for student-athletes competing in men's and women's cross country, women's volleyball, men's basketball, men's lacrosse, baseball, and softball.

The President's Award is presented each year to a male and female student-athlete who demonstrates academic success, leadership, and citizenship, while being an ambassador for the athletics program. This year's winners are Kaitlyn Cavallucci of women's cross country, and Ryan McCrary of men's lacrosse.

The John C. Shew Award is presented each year to the second-year student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA. The award is named in honor of the former academic counselor and athletics director who was a staunch believer in academics and athletics, and an advocate for the importance of education. This year's winner is Carly Collins, a member of the softball team.

Below are the winners of the Team Awards and Campus Director's Awards. The Campus Director's Award is presented to a student-athlete on each team who best exemplifies the characteristics of a Delaware Tech student-athlete.

Men's Cross Country
