Cline Named Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Year, Six Players Earn Postseason Honors

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ lacrosse player Jude Cline was named the 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 19 Defensive Player of the Year, headlining a group of six players from the College who earned postseason honors.
Cline was also named to the NJCAA Region 19 All-Region First Team where he was joined by teammates Tyree Heath, Cameron Hellens, Landon Hudson, Ethan Parker, and Gabe Smith.
A freshman, Cline finished the year with 14 caused turnovers and 13 ground balls.
Heath, a sophomore midfielder, secured 13 Goals, 12 Assists, seven caused turnovers, and 34 ground balls.
Sophomore Hellens had a 75% face-off win percentage with 50 ground balls.
Hudson, a freshman midfielder, finished the season with 34 goals, nine assists, 45 ground balls, and six caused turnovers.
As a sophomore attacker, Parker had 25 goals this season, with an additional 11 assists, 29 ground balls, and seven caused turnovers.
Smith, a sophomore midfielder delivered 23 goals, 16 assists, 58 ground balls, and 11 caused turnovers.
Delaware Tech posted a 5-7 record on the season and advanced to the NJCAA Region 19 Championship game, where they suffered a close 14-13 overtime loss against Mercer Community College.
