Baseball and Softball Teams Hold Sophomore Day Ceremonies

Sophomore student-athletes on Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s baseball and softball teams were acknowledged during Sophomore Day ceremonies held prior to each team’s April 5 home games at the Jack F. Owens Campus in Georgetown.
During the ceremonies, players were escorted on to the field by family and friends. Their favorite memories and future plans were shared, and they were given personalized posters presented by College Vice President and Owens Campus Director Dr. Bobbi Barends.
Baseball players celebrated were Patrick Blanch, Jack Ford, Quinton Hauser, Philip LoMedico, Chrystopher Roscoe, Anthony Russo, and Jameson Summerill.
Softball players honored were Natalie Berry, Zoey Coco, Amara Cropper, Cecilia Johnston, Brooklyn Richardson, Kameron Sockriter, and Aliyah Walker.
The softball ceremony also included a special acknowledgment for head coach Guy Wilkins for recording his 200th win at the College earlier in the season.
