Delaware Tech Celebrates 2025 Practical Nursing Graduates at Pinning Ceremonies
August 4, 2025
Â鶹ÊÓƵ celebrated 30 graduates from its practical nursing studies program (PN) during pinning ceremonies on July 30 and July 31 at both the Stanton Campus and the Owens Campus in Georgetown. Graduates at each ceremony received a symbolic pin to mark their completion of the program. After the formal presentation of the pins, graduates recited the Nightingale Pledge.
The PN Program at Delaware Tech prepares individuals to function under the direction of a registered nurse and/or licensed physician or dentist. Individuals acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities and are academically prepared to advance in nursing education. A PN studies graduate is eligible to take the licensure exam as an LPN, allowing the graduate to provide vital hands-on nursing care in various settings.
